Barbara M. Kurtz, 71, of Allentown, died June 20, 2016, at home surrounded by loved ones.

She and her husband George A. Kurtz were married 49 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Susan M. (Kuchera) Molchany.

She was a scanning coordinator at Wegman’s, Easton, for 15 years.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church, Orefield.

An avid reader, she enjoyed water aerobics and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is suvived by daughters Alicia, wife of Andrew Shoup, of Gilbert, Ariz., Susan, wife of Michael Jordan of Bismarck, Ill., and Monica, wife of Erik Steffy, of Fairfax, Va.; brother Jack Molchany of Menomonee Falls, Wis.; sister Leona Keppel of Coplay; grandchildren Rebecca, Nicholas, Luke, Alyssa, Noah, Anthony and Charlie; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. June 24 at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1879 Applewood Road, Orefield.

Visitation 10-11 a.m. in the church. Interment will be private.
