Ruth K. Parry, 92, of Slatington, died June 9, 2016, in her home.

She was the wife of the late Russel B. Parry.

Born July 12, 1923, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Pearl (Bear) Rabenold.

She faithfully and honorably served her country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II earning the rank of corporal.

She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Slatington.

Her survivors include a daughter, Patricia A., wife of Donald J. Krapf of Slatington; grandson Eric R. Krapf and his wife, Christina, of Florida; granddaughter Lori A. VanDoren and her husband, Jason, of Walnutport; and great-grandchildren, Maxxie, Hallie, Tanner and Chase.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. June 17 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc. 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Lunnett M. Hilliard officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Interment with military honors will follow the service at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
