Northampton: Many events set at Northampton library

Sign-ups for Northampton Area Public Library’s summer reading program - for children, teens and adults - is underway.

The teen program begins June 27 and will feature special Monday programs - smoothies, life-sized Clue, life hacks, cord bracelets, NAPL chocolate Olympics, a scavenger hunt and end-of-summer dance party.

The children’s program, which officially begins July 5 for children age 10 months to fifth grade, will first include a visit from Sciencetellers 6 p.m. June 30.

The library, 1615 Laubach Ave., also will hold a program for teens on interview skills 10 a.m. June 18. Teens will learn tips on the dos and don’ts of interviewing, so they can land that summer job!

A Social Security seminar, presented by Paul Stocker, is planned for 6:30 p.m. June 21. Sign up for this free event by contacting the library.

A program on nutrition and healthy living will be held 6 p.m. June 23. It will be presented by Dr. Kaitlyn Connors.

An adult game night is set for 6:30 p.m. June 29 at the library.

Northampton Area High School’s Class of 2011 will hold its reunion 5-10 p.m. June 18 at Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, Route 329.
