Mary E. “Bimby” Labanz, 85, of Emmaus, died June 9, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Jerome J. “Jerry” Labanz. Born in Topton, she was the daughter of the late Wallace C. and Cora Ella (Spotts) Barto.

She was a hostess and waitress at The Brass Rail restaurant.

She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.

As a mother, grandmother and friend, her greatest gifts to all have been her generosity and laughter.

She is survived by daughters, Judy Colt, Carol and her husband George Walton, Mary and her husband Scott Roeder, Lisa and her husband Arnie Wetzel and Theresa Bruns; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Contributions may be made to the Lehigh County Humane Society, 640 Dixon St., Allentown, 18103.
