Northampton police
Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.
MAY 20
A hit-and-run accident occurred in the 1200 block of Northampton Avenue. The report said a legally parked vehicle was struck, damaging the left side. The offending vehicle was located.
In the 2300 block of Main Street, officers investigated a criminal mischief report of damage to a storm door.
Criminal mischief was reported at Ninth Street and Siegfried Avenue. The report said a male damaged the inside of a vehicle.
Police responded to a theft from a vehicle in the 100 block of King Street. An unlocked car was entered into, and loose change was taken.
MAY 21
A domestic dispute occurred in the 1500 block of Poplar Street.
In the 300 block of Adaire Court, officers investigated a child custody issue.
The department said a reportable accident, involving two vehicles, occurred in the unit block of Laubach Avenue.
MAY 22
According to police, a domestic disturbance took place in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue.
In the 800 block of Washington Avenue, officers checked on the welfare of a female.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1600 block of Main Street.
MAY 24
In the 100 block of East 16th Street, a domestic disturbance occurred.
Police responded to a custody issue in the 2000 block of Main Street.
A theft from a vehicle took place in the 300 block of East 12th Street. There were two reports of unlocked vehicles entered into; money and gift cards were taken.
MAY 25
In the 1300 block of Wynnewood Drive, theft from a vehicle was reported to police. An unlocked vehicle was entered into, and a purse was taken.
In the 500 block of Coventry Court, theft from a vehicle was reported. An unlocked vehicle was entered into; a wallet was taken.
The department reported a domestic disturbance between a male and female occurred in the 1700 block of Line Alley.
MAY 26
Members of the department responded to a domestic dispute between a male and female in the 200 block of West 26th Street.
MAY 28
Officers and their K-9s assisted Lehigh Township and Palmerton police departments in the 4800 block of Old Main Street, Walnutport, in the search of a male.
Harassment by communication was reported to police in the 1000 block of Main Street. The report said a male and female were being harassed by phone and text messages.

In the 2000 block of Canal Street, a domestic dispute occurred between a male and female.
In the unit block of West Fourth Street, a domestic dispute between a male and female was filed with the department.
The department reported a hit-and-run accident occurred in the 1300 block of Canal Street. A legally parked vehicle was struck, damaging the driver-side mirror.

Members of the department responded to a child custody issue in the 100 block of West 16th Street.

In the 100 block of West 27th Street, a domestic dispute took place between a male and female.
JUNE 1
Police responded to a domestic dispute report in the 400 block of East 11th Street.
Officers and their K-9s assisted in the 100 block of East 16th Street and 1000 block of Main Street.
JUNE 2
A theft from a vehicle was reported to police in the 1900 block of Northampton Avenue. The report said an unlocked vehicle was entered into and loose change taken.
The report of criminal mischief in the 1600 block of Main Street was filed with the department. The report said there was damage done to the windshield of a legally parked vehicle.
