Ebenezer Church’s clothing closet will be open 6- 8 p.m. June 9 and 10 a.m.-noon June 11. All are welcome. Proof of need is not required.

The closet is not accepting donations at this time.

New Tripoli Fire Company, New Tripoli, will host a chicken barbecue beginning 11 a.m. June 19 to whenever they run out of chicken.

So take the day off and treat your dad.

Jacob’s Church, New Tripoli is hosting Community Day, rain or shine, 5-8:30 p.m. on June 17.

There will be free activities and games. Also included in the fun will be a dunk tank, moon walk, tractor show and car cruise. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Menu includes hot dogs, hamburgers, fresh cut fries, homemade ice cream, funnel cake and fried Oreo cookies.
