Whitehall library: Registration for summer reading program starts June 7
We are getting ready for our summer reading program for 2016. The theme this year is sports and exercise. Our program is for all ages - kids, teens and adults. We will have special programs and activities for all to attend.
On Your Mark, Get Set, Read @ the Library is the theme for kids; Get in the Game @ the Library is the theme for teens; and Exercise Your Mind @ the Library is the adult theme.
We are asking each participant to read at least 20 minutes a day and keep track of the author and titles for the books.
Please stop by the library beginning June 7 to register.

Reminder: We will continue to sell copies of Whitehall High School yearbooks on DVD. The library digitized Whitehall High School yearbooks from 1922 to 2014.
Complete an order form and send or drop off your payment to receive your copy. Order forms are available at the front desk or on our website. The library will call when your copy is ready.
These make a great gift for alumni!
Call the library for cost of a yearbook, per copy.

To help Whitehall Lions Club with one of its yearly service projects, the library is collecting items for the local animal shelter, Peaceable Kingdom. They are looking for new toys, specific foods, old, but clean towels and supplies for the cats and dogs. Please ask for the Peaceable Kingdom wish list by phone or at the desk.
When you drop off items at our location, the club will take them to Peaceable Kingdom.
