Grace A. Diehl, 95, of Lehighton, died May 17, 2016, in the Summit at Blue Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton.

She was the wife of the late Willis V. Diehl.

Born Jan. 23, 1921, in North Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late William J.D. and Annie L. (Fetherolf) Heintzelman.

A 1965 graduate of Kutztown University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in education, she was an elementary school teacher in the Lehighton School District for 23 years before retiring in 1983.

She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lehighton, where she was a former choir member.

She was a member of the Big Creek Grange, Franklin Township.

Her survivors include daughters Mary Louise, wife of Vincent Gilotti of Midway, Utah, Diane S., wife of Willis Slotter, of Troy, Christine G., wife of M. Jay Barry of Lehighton, Michele D., wife of Charles Glantz of Oley, Winona D., wife of Jay Rifenbary of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by siblings Dr. George W. Heintzelman, Lillian M. Ringer and Florence A. Semmel.
