AARP 3115

AARP Chapter 3115 will meet at noon on June 2 at the American Club, 300 Cherry St., Coplay.

Rose Yanger of Weston Senior Living Center, Northampton, will talk about the programs and activities offered there.

Refreshments will be available. Bring a non-perishable item for the food bank.

New members are welcome to attend.

St. John’s UCC

St. John’s UCC, 36 S. Sixth St., Allentown, will be celebrating its musicians and music ministries with a combined choir of current and former choir members at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 5.

The Hanover Woodwind Quintet will entertain during the service.

At 1 p.m. the Allentown Band will perform in the sanctuary.

Former St. John’s choir members who would like to join the choir June 5, should contact Lois Mease, choir director, by calling the church office.

Those present for the church service and the Allentown Band are invited for a light luncheon between the service and the band performance, but RSVP at the church office, by calling 610-433-0146, no later than May 30.
