Leaser Lake

Leaser Lake Heritage Foundation will be hosting a day of paddling and picnicking noon to 5 p.m. May 22 at Leaser Lake Accessible Recreation Area, 8568 Follweiler Court, Kempton.

Adaptive Kayaking equipment will be available for use by disabled paddlers. The day will feature the Lehigh Valley Chapter of Team River Runner.

TRR promotes health and healing through paddlesports for disabled veterans and civilians.

The day’s events will include presentation of an award from Disability Friendly Community to the Leaser Lake Heritage Foundation for the development of the Accessible Recreation Area, and dedication of two memorial trees.
