Kenneth P. Holtzhafer, 81, of Allentown, died May 8, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife Jeanette A. (Kehm) Holtzhafer were married 57 years last July.

Born in Lehigh County, he was the son of the late Henry C. and Helen (Meitzler) Holtzhafer.

A millwright for Bethlehem Steel for 30 years, he was a lifetime member of Wheels of Time.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Fogelsville, where he served on the property committee and church council.

He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Jane, wife of David Newhard of Macungie, and Bonnie, wife of Michael Langella, of Bechtelsville, brother, Walter of Emmaus, grandchildren; Brad, Lauren, Meghan, and Randy, Jr.

He was predeceased by a son Randy.
