James T. Reitz, 69, of Allentown, died May 10, 2016, in his home.

He was the husband of the late Diane E. (Francisco) Reitz.

Born Oct. 20, 1946, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Theodore H. and Rose (Balint) Reitz.

A graduate of Penn State University with a Master’s degree in business, he was a system analyst and programmer at the Bank of New York for 40 years before retiring.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.

Survivors include his loving sister Marianne K. Fegely and her husband, Mark of Macungie; nephews Scott S. Quier and his former wife, Misty, Kevin B. Quier and his wife, Christine; and grandnieces Delia E. Quier, Alexis R. Quier, Olivia K. Quier.

His service will be prrivate. There will be no calling hours.
