A kind reminder! On May 21, the Lehigh-Northampton Grangers are sponsoring a barbecue chicken dinner.

The dinners must be picked up 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Schncksville Grange, Route 863, Schnecksville.

Those who ordered dinners may eat in or take them out.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to sponsor a $1,000 scholarship awarded annually to the Allentown Fair Queen.

The 2015 Allentown Fair Queen Aliza Nyce will be present, so be sure to stop by and say hello!

The public is invited! Heidelberg Church will not be at Night in the Country this year, but come to their country Church Picnic and Basket Social 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. June 5.

Don’t forget to bring lawn chairs, family and friends.

Food will be available for purchase.

Jack and Friends will be entertaining the crowds with music during the afternoon.

There will also be a cake walk, children’s games, face painting and playground.

The basket social drawing will be 5 p.m.

If you, your son or daughter will be graduating from high school, college or technical school this year, call the Heidelberg Church parish secretary at 610-7674740 (UCC) or 610-767-1526 (Lutheran) and leave the name of the graduate and school from which he or she will be graduating.

Heidelberg UCC Graduate Recognition Sunday is scheduled for 11 a.m. June 12.

The Lutheran Graduate Recognition Sunday will be 8:30 a.m. June 19.
