You are cordially invited to attend the opening of the Doris Hendricks Fry Art Exhibit to be held at the George Taylor House (GTH), 35 S. Front St., 1-4 p.m. June 5. Admission is free.

The exhibit will feature early-American folk-art techniques and award-winning decorative art styles employed by the late Fry, including American primitive paintings, Theorem paintings, Reverse Glass paintings and Tole paintings, which were popular in America during the 18th and 19th centuries.

Also featured at the opening will be Fry’s son, Dave Fry, the Lehigh Valley’s award-winning folk musician and teaching artist and founder of Bethlehem’s nationally recognized folk club, Godfrey Daniels.
