Rosalind A. Geist, 65, of Northampton, formerly of Allentown, passed away peacefully, May 6, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.

She and her husband Franklin E. Geist were married 40 years on Jan. 24.

Born May 20, 1950, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert G. Jr. and Maryann (Shuey) Smith.

She was a supervisor for Hobbie Personnel, Allentown, for 10 years before retiring in 2003.

Prior to that, she worked in the computer department at the former Merchant’s National Bank, Allentown, for 15 years.

She was a member of UCC Greenawalds, South Whitehall.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a son, Mitchell G. of Allentown and his companion, Trish Burkhardt, of Orefield; and stepdaughter Denise Geist of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
