Joshua R. Leibensperger, 25, of Schuylkill Haven died May 2, 2016, at home.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Barry J. Leibensperger of Schuylkill Haven, with whom he resided, and Denise R. (Christman) Leibensperger of Kempton.

He was employed by McDonald’s restaurant, Schuylkill Haven.

A 2009 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, he participated in baseball, wrestling and football.

He was also a member of the National Honor Society.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son Noah Anthony Leibensperger; sister Kaitlin S. Leibensperger of Reading; brothers Cory M. and Craig J., both of Schuylkill Haven, and Jarod P. and his wife Amanda, of Cressona; grandparents Marion “Mike” and Wendy Christman of Little River, S.C.; Paul and Geraldine Leibensperger of Kempton and Pearl Leibensperger of Fleetwood; nephews Austin, Chase, Cole and Collin Leibensperger; and uncles, aunts and cousins.

Contributions in his memory be made to the funeral home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, PA 18066 to help offset final expenses.
