On June 5, St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will celebrate its annual Celebrate Community event. This event is open to the community of Whitehall with a lot of free family fun.
This year, the committee will be honoring and remembering veterans. A memorial tribute wall will be created and displayed at the community celebration. Members of the community have purchased stars for the wall to honor and remember someone close to their heart. All proceeds from the star fundraiser will benefit homeless veterans.
After the event, the wall will be displayed in the church throughout the month of June.
