Open houses in the Whitehall-Coplay School District are set for this month.

Zephyr Elementary will hold its open house 6:30-8:30 p.m. tonight, May 12.

Steckel Elementary’s open house is set for 6:30-8:30 p.m. May 19.

Gockley Elementary will hold its open house 6:30-8:30 p.m. May 26.

Open houses are a great evening to come out and visit with your child’s teacher along with seeing all the great student work on display.

The middle school’s Night of Music will be held 7-9 p.m. May 17 in the Whitehall High School auditorium.

The PTO is looking for parents and grandparents with clearances to volunteer for Children’s Day activities. Children’s Day at Gockley Elementary School will be held June 6.

This is an annual PTO Plus-sponsored event and is a favorite for students. This year’s theme is Summer Olympics.

Young children may not attend with the adult volunteers.

Camp Whitehall 2016 is accepting registrations.

Camp Whitehall is a summer day camp open to children who reside within the Whitehall-Coplay School District and have completed kindergarten (minimum age of 5) through eighth grade (maximum age 15).

There are eight one-week sessions, and parents may choose which sessions they would like their children to attend. This summer program operates between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
