Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

APRIL 21

In the 500 block of American Street, the department brought in K9 foot patrol to a scene.

In the 400 block of Front Street, a problem with a son occurred. Police responded.

K9s assisted officers in a drug arrest in the 600 block of Pine Street.

A suspicious vehicle was reported to police in the 600 block of Pine Street. An 18-year-old male from Catasauqua was arrested then for possession of marijuana.

APRIL 22

In the 100 block of Pine Street, a problem with an ex-employee occurred. Officers responded to the harassment report.

At Kohl’s, 2010 Whitehall Mall, officers assisted Whitehall Township Police Department for a search.

On Third Street, a vehicle plate was taken, police reported.

In the 300 block of Church Street, police assisted Lehigh County Children and Youth.

In the 500 block of Kurtz Street, a GPS and cigarettes were stolen from a vehicle.

In the area of the 300 block of Tioga Street, a juvenile with an air soft gun was reported to police.

A dog was barking and stuck in a yard on Howertown Road. Officers responded to the animal complaint report.

APRIL 23

In the area of Stonewood Place, an owner was notified and loud music turned down after police responded to a noise complaint report.

APRIL 24

A juvenile was reported missing in the 200 block of Church Street.

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., a problem with another resident occurred, police reported.

Threatening text messages were received in the 200 block of Prospect Street.

In the 100 block of Howertown Road, loud music was turned down after officers responded to a noise complaint report.

A suspicious person was reported to police in the 400 block of Crane Street. A dispute was occurring between juveniles.

Officers responded to a domestic dispute report in the 100 block of Front Street. The party fled the scene.

APRIL 25

In the 100 block of Front Street, police conducted a citizen assist.

Suspicious activity was reported in the 700 block of Second Street. Projectiles were thrown at vehicles.

A garbage truck was disabled in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue. Police responded to the scene.

An owner was warned after having an ATV on the roadway in the 600 block of Pearl Street.

In the 600 block of Race Street, the owner’s brother of an ATV was warned for having it on the roadway.

APRIL 26

In the 500 block of Railroad Street, a problem with a dog on a leash brought out police to investigate.

No arrests were made from a disturbance report at Catty Mart, 547 Front St., for a person with a weapon.

Graffiti on playground equipment in the 700 block of Second Street was reported to police.

An IRS scam was reported in the 900 block of Bridge Street.

Police sought information in the 100 block of Front Street. A vehicle was located then from a previous incident.

Officers assisted Pennsylvania State Police and Colonial Regional Police Department in the 200 block of York Street.

An unwanted person was reported to police in the 200 block of Second Street. The department said there was a problem with an ex-boyfriend.

APRIL 27

In the 200 block of Church Street, an Internet fraud was reported to police.

At Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St., the theft of a backpack occurred.

On Race Street, a traffic citation was issued.

A traffic citation was issued in the 200 block of North 14th Street.

In the 400 block of Limestone Street, suspicious activity was reported.

A traffic citation was issued on Second Street.

APRIL 28

Officers assisted an outside agency in the 300 block of Church Street.

On Second Street, two traffic citations were issued.

A traffic citation was issued on Race Street.

In the 1200 block of Howertown Road, officers assisted North Catasauqua Police Department.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of Poplar Street.

Police responded to a hazardous condition report of a water main break in the 400 block of Race Street.

A reportable motor vehicle accident occurred in the 500 block of Lehigh Street.

Two vehicles were involved in a reportable motor vehicle accident on Lehigh Street.

APRIL 29

An abandoned vehicle was tagged and the plate taken on Second Street.

A 49-year-old male from Whitehall was arrested on a DUI offense in the 100 block of Race Street.

A disabled vehicle was moved off the roadway on Lehigh Street.

Police responded to a landlord/tenant issue over rent in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

A protection-from-abuse order was violated in the 200 block of Church Street, police reported.

A wanted person on warrants was found in the 400 block of Front Street.

At Fossil’s Last Stand, 429 Race St., music was turned down after a noise complaint was reported to the department.

A boyfriend/girlfriend dispute was reported to police in the 200 block of Church Street.

APRIL 30

A ticket was issued in the 300 block of Church Street.

A possible harassment was reported to police in the 400 block of Walnut Street because of a problem with neighbors.

On Second Street, writing on a vehicle window was reported.

MAY 1

In the 100 block of Race Street, a school computer was stolen.

In the 300 block of Church Street, a vehicle was ticketed.

On Cambridge Place, a traffic citation was issued.

A traffic citation was issued in the 200 block of North 14th Street.

A disturbance brought no arrests from an argument between brothers in the 800 block of Bath Avenue.

Suspicious activity was reported to police on Poplar Street. Males were looking in vehicles and were gone upon officers’ arrival.

MAY 2

In the 200 block of Lehigh Street, a traffic citation was issued.

The department reported it is continuing an identity theft investigation in the 400 block of Howertown Road.

An abandoned vehicle was moved in the 100 block of Second Street.

Police reported they are continuing an unattended death investigation.

In the 300 block of Mulberry Street, the department is continuing an animal complaint investigation.

MAY 3

At Catasauqua Police Department, 118 Bridge St., 24 parking tickets were filed.

K-9s and police assisted the attorney general’s office with a house search in the 3100 block of Roxford Road.

In the 500 block of Pine Street, money fraud on the computer was reported to police.

A female juvenile runaway caused members of the department to investigate in the 800 block of Church Street.

MAY 4

Solicitation permits were filed at the department, 118 Bridge St.

Twenty-four parking tickets were filed at the department, 118 Bridge St.

A juvenile complaint of a problem with students getting out of school in the 600 block of Walnut Street was reported.

Officers conducted a citizen assist in the 700 block of Front Street.

A student refusing to leave from the bus at Medical Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, caused no arrests.

An argument between a mother and son in the 100 block of Front Street caused no arrests.

MAY 5

An abandoned vehicle was tagged and removal process started in the 200 block of Second Street.

A traffic citation was issued on Third Street.

Police responded to a civil matter from a dispute over a cash exchange in the 600 block of Front Street.

On Cambridge Place, non-offense damage was done to a roof and gutter.

Officers responded to a report of a problem with a male walking a dog in the 200 block of Second Street.

A domestic offense against a family investigation is continuing in the 100 block of Front Street.

MAY 6

In the 900 block of Bridge Street, an abandoned vehicle was ticketed and tagged.

On Pine Street, a traffic citation was issued.

An officer sustaining a minor injury was filed at the department, 118 Bridge St.

In the 300 block of Second Street, an abandoned vehicle was ticketed and tagged.

Loud music from a parked vehicle was turned down upon request in the 200 block of Poplar Street.

Officers responded to the hazardous condition of a cable wire down in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

MAY 7

A 20-year-old female and a 16-year-old male, both of Bethlehem, were arrested in the 100 block of Walnut Street for possession of alcohol by a minor.

Members of the department responded to a theft report for money owed for a cab ride in the 700 block of Second Street.

At Tommy Burke Provision Company, 501 Peach St., police responded to the scene of a dumpster fire.

In the 700 block of American Street, a vehicle window was broken, and $40 and a box of candy bars were stolen.

The department reported an individual searched through an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Wood Street.

MAY 8

In the 100 block of Walnut Street, police responded to a harassment issue between neighbors.

At the department, 118 Bridge St., a sink overflowed and leaked into the department.

Police responded to a harassment report between neighbors in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

An argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend in the 500 block of Bethlehem Road caused no arrests, the department said.

In the 400 block of Prospect Street, officers responded to a report of a disturbance between a father and daughter.

Police responded to a missing juvenile report in the 800 block of Church Street.

A loose dog was returned to its owner on South 14th Street.
