The Borough of Catasauqua will be having a yard sale 8 a.m.-2 p.m. May 14 at Firemans Field, Race Street, to benefit the K-9 services.

If interested in renting a space (you must bring your own table), or if you have any questions, call Barb at 610-264-1466.

In the past, these sales have been a significant source of revenue to continue to have Officer Jack as part of Catasauqua Borough Police Department.

Catasauqua Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale from 9 a.m. to noon, or when all plants are sold, May 14 at Bridge Street Studio & Gallery, 121 Bridge St. Please come early!

Penn State soil test kits will be available for purchase.

This event helps the club provide a scholarship for a Catasauqua High School senior and an annual donation to The Public Library of Catasauqua.

Bingo will be held at Annunciation BVM Church (St. Mary’s Parish Center), 122 W. Union St., 1 p.m. May 15.

The kitchen will open 11:30 a.m. for sit-in meals and takeout.

This is the last regular bingo until September, except for during the block party June 23, 24 and 25.

Cinderella will be visiting The Public Library of Catasauqua 6 p.m. May 18 during the storytime for children in grades 1-3. Join the fun as Rebecca Zukowski-Gillespie, owner of Blondie’s, reads the classic Perrault fairy tale, “Cinderella.” Zukowski-Gillespie will be in costume and in character.
