Ruth A. Christman

Ruth A. Christman, 84, of Fullerton, Whitehall Township, died peacefully May 5, 2016, in St. Luke’s University Hospital, Bethlehem.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Wallace E. and Ida V. (Angstadt) Reinert Sr.

She and her husband Robert C. Christman Jr. were married 54 years at the time of his death in 2007.

A very active member of St. John’s UCC, Fullerton, she served as a Sunday School teacher, deacon and elder for many years.

A former member of the choir, she served as chairlady of the altar guild, which she helped establish.

She was a former Den Mother for Cub Pack 63.

Her survivors include sons Robert Jr. of Slatington, Gary and wife Tina of Berlinsville, Tim and wife, Karen, of Whitehall, Christopher of Coplay, Ronald and wife, Tammy, of Whitehall; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; snd sister-in-law Shirley Christman of Allentown.

She was predeceased by s grandson Mark Robert Christman and five siblings.
