A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 2700 block of Cherryville Road, police reported. A Pampered Chef bag containing cash and checks was taken from an unlocked legally parked vehicle.

Members of the department responded to a disturbance call in the 1500 block of Newport Avenue.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 1600 block of Poplar Street.

APRIL 27

A domestic dispute between a male and female occurred in the 1300 block of Newport Avenue, the department said.

Suspicious activity was reported in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue. An officer observed an older male trying to open the door of a legally parked vehicle.

In the 1800 block of Main Street, a report of a male causing a disturbance was filed with the department.
