Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 will meet May 11 at Northampton Banquet & Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave.

Doors open noon.

Entertainment and refreshments will be provided.

AfFORDable Pet Center Inc., 2022 Main St., will be celebrating its 10th anniversary 9 a.m.-3 p.m. May 14.

Events will be held inside the store as well as in the Center Street parking lot.

Highlights include displays by No Nonsense Neutering, 4-H clubs, pet food representatives and more.

A dog trainer will be on hand.

Basket giveaways and a bake sale are also planned.

The Friends of the Northampton Area Public Library group will hold a spring yard sale 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 21. Ten-foot-by-10-foot spaces, with or without tables, are available. Reserve your spot at the library.

Donations also are being accepted to be sold at the yard sale table.
