Ontelaunee Park’s train restoration committee is seeking photos and videos to aid in the restoration of Old 99.
The train ran in the park from the 1930s until sold in 1987.
Thirteen years later, it was brought back to Lynn Township by the late Carl Snyder, who wanted to restore and return the train to the park.
Plans are underway to do that but help from the community is needed.
Anyone who has photos or videos to help chronicle the train’s history over the past 80-plus years is asked to contact any committee member.
Label the videos and photos with name, address and telephone number or email address so they can be returned.
