Dolores J. “Dee” Renninger, 76, of Macungie, died April 25, 2016, at St. Luke’s Hospice, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Henry “Buck” Conrad. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Mark D. and Helen M. (Mohr) Bieber.
Her family will remember her passion for baking and love of ice cream. She worked in retail sales starting at Laneco. After retiring she continued working and was one of the first sales persons at Kohl’s department store, Trexlertown. One of her most memorable moments at the store was meeting Ben Stiller and his wife while they were shopping. Upon leaving Kohl’s she continued to visit the store and was affectionately known as the “Mayor of Kohl’s.”
She currently was a volunteer at St. Luke’s Allentown Hospital Gift Shop.
She is survived by a daughter, Jayne, wife of Carlos Silva, with whom she resided; son, Norman Conrad, of Allentown; brother, Richard and his wife Joanie, of North Carolina; grandchildren, Lauren wife of Joseph Basile and Michael Conrad. She was predeceased by a grandson, Justin Conrad.
Arrangements were made by the Trexler Funeral Home, Allentown.
