Grief is a tricky emotion, and there is plenty to learn about managing it.

Join this one-hour presentation about how to help children deal with grief. The presentation will discuss the importance of listening to your children, how their development affects grief, changing grief processing over time and how families can be supportive of each other during the grieving process.

This event will take place 6:30-7:30 p.m. May 12 in the Catasauqua High School auditorium, 2500 Bullshead Road, Northampton, and is presented by Lori Esslinger.

A gift card bingo will be held 7 p.m. May 13 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, Catasauqua. Doors open 6 p.m.

Food will be available for purchase.

To purchase tickets in advance, come to the church office between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays. Tickets also will be available at the door the night of the event.

Proceeds will benefit the parsonage repair fund.
