Bruce A. Bauer, 79, formerly of Orefield, died April 26, 2016, in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall.

He was the husband of the late Sherry M. (Leaser) Bauer.

Born Oct. 16, 1936, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Russell F. and Emily M. (Krick) Bauer.

He was a welder at Mack Truck Inc., Allentown and Macungie, for 32 years before retiring in 1998.

His survivors include children Timothy M. and his wife, Paula, of Coplay, Diane L. Folland and her husband, Stephen, of Orefield; sister Eleanor Matticks of Allentown; and grandchildren Nicholas, Jacob and Alexander.
