Carmen J. “Chick” Cerrone, 80, of Slatington, died April 22, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He and wife Marilyn R. (Blose) Cerrone were married 54 years Dec. 2, 2015.
Born May 30, 1935, in Nazareth, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Katherine (Senneca) Cerrone.
He was employed at the former Haney Fundraising and Harold Stephens Trucking, both in Allentown before retiring.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during a peacetime era.
He was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Slatington.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Michele A. at home; brother Anthony J. of New Tripoli; sister Pauline Kemmerer of Allentown; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was predeceased by siblings Florence Hoefler, Dorothy Kindt and Michael Cerrone.
