Esther S. Zettlemoyer, 92, died April 20, 2016. She was the wife of the late Erwin Zettlemoyer for 72 years. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Roscoe J.F. and Alma D. (Brunner) Sloyer.
She was a graduate of Liberty High School and Bethlehem Business College.
She worked at the Bethlehem Steel. She worked for Dr. F. Pearson and later for Dr. F. Flor. She was a secretary for the Salvation Army.
She was a member of Emmanuel E.C. Church, where, for many years, she taught Sunday school there and at the Church of God. At age 14, she taught an adult Sunday school class at the Salvation Army.
She is survived by a son, Joel and his wife Diana of Walnutport; three daughters, Judith Dologite in Florida and Joyce Zettlemoyer and Jane and her husband Fred Ayre, all of Bethlehem; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
