Northampton: Breakfast to be served Sunday

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, East 22nd Street and Washington Avenue, will host a breakfast 8:30 a.m.-noon April 24.

There is a cost.

Tickets will be sold at the door.

Northampton Area Food Bank will be holding its yearly general meeting April 26 in the social hall of Queenship of Mary, 1324 Newport Ave.

Dinner will begin 6 p.m. Covered dishes and desserts are welcome. The business meeting will follow 7 p.m.

All interested persons are encouraged to attend this meeting. If you want to know more about the food bank, are interested in volunteering or are currently volunteering at the food bank, plan to attend. Area churches are urged to send clergy and board members for the yearly budget discussion.

Northampton Area Public Library will hold a program by Joseph Mastriani, CPA 6:30 p.m. April 26. He will speak on budgeting and establishing financial priorities.

Call the library at 610-262-7537 to register for this free financial literacy program.

Visit Santa Fe Taco, 2022 Main St., 5-7 p.m. April 28, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Friends of Northampton Area Public Library group.

Boy Scout Troop 93 is having a spaghetti dinner 4-7 p.m. April 30 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 19th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

The menu includes spaghetti, salad and ice cream.

There is a cost.

All proceeds benefit the troop.
