Michael F. Hess Sr., 63, of Bethlehem Township, died April 16, 2016. Born in Amarillo, Texas, he was a son of the late Marion F. and Margie (Coats) Hess. He was the husband of Rebecca (Weston) Hess for 31 years.

He was in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam conflict.

He worked in the automotive service industry, most recently in the service departments of Star Pontiac and Brown Daub.

He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bethlehem.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by seven children, Michael Jr. and his wife Michelle of Bethlehem, William R. and his fiance Leah of Quakertown, Marc and his wife Davida of Alaska, Myles of Washington, Travis of Maryland; Katelyn and her husband Evan Golazeski of Telford and Gretchen Drew and her husband Mage Burmer of Oregon; brothers; sisters; grandchildren;and great-grandchildren.
