Dorothy “Dot” Nicholas, 87, died April 17, 2016. Born in Hazelton, she was a daughter of the late James and Marie (Potts) Cusatis. She was the wife of the late George A. Nicholas.

She worked for several years at Just Born Candy.

She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Rosary Society.

She was a member of the I.C.C.

She is survived by three daughters, Mary and her husband James W. Fink, with whom she resided, Susan Nicholas of Catasauqua and Marion Comoglio of Bethlehem; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and the Fink family.

She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Jane DeNofa; and two brothers, William and Michael Cusatis.
