Catasauqua: Salem UCC planning April 21 flea market
Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., will hold a flea market 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 21.
A silent auction with great prizes will be featured. There also will be a bake sale and good food to eat in or take out.

Catasauqua Shade Tree Commission will hold its annual Arbor Day celebration 10 a.m. April 23 in the large pavilion at Catasauqua Park and Playground, St. John and Church streets. This annual celebration is open to the public.
Trees will be dedicated in memory of or in honor of Catasauqua residents or organizations. Memorial dedications of loved ones also can be made.
Call Bob Bastian at 610-266-4287 if you would like to dedicate a tree for next year’s event.

Catasauqua American Legion, 330 Second St., will hold its next all-you-can-eat breakfast 8 a.m.-noon April 24. Eggs, bacon, sausage, SOS, home fries, American toast, juice, coffee and tea will be served.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Fourth and Pine streets, will hold a basket raffle 6-8 p.m. April 29.
Featured will be themed baskets, gift certificates, handmade afghans, plants and other unique items.
Proceeds will benefit Trinity’s roof fund and Ben Yorgey Foundation.
Ben Yorgey Memorial awards are presented annually to graduating students with intellectual disabilities from Lehigh and surrounding counties.

Catasauqua Club, 226 Pine St., will be having a chicken dinner and bingo 5 p.m. April 30. Doors open 4 p.m.
There will be 15 games of bingo and your meal.
Additionally, there will be a Chinese auction. Cards for special games also will be sold.
Advance ticket sales are recommended.
