Whitehall library: Meet Clifford the Big Red Dog at April 16 family fun day
National Library Week will end April 16, and we will be having a kite-making, family fun day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come to the library that day to learn how to make a kite.
This year’s One Book Every Child selection is “Kite Day: A Bear and Mole Story.”
Clifford the Big Red Dog will be present, courtesy of Friends of the Library, as we make kites, read stories and more. Weather permitting, we will meet outside at the picnic tables, but in the event of rain, we will move indoors, and you can take your kite for a test spin on a nicer day.
As one of our door prizes, Miller Symphony Hall will be donating a pack of four tickets to see the musical “Clifford the Big Red Dog - Live!,” set for 2 p.m. April 23.
Thanks to Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce for promoting this event and to Miller Symphony Hall for helping sponsor it.
