Prom tickets are on sale during lunches now through April 22 for seniors and juniors only. Dinner at the prom will be served 6:30 p.m. and students must make their dinner choice at the time of ticket purchase.
The three dinner choices are: grilled marinated flank steak and house steak sauce, Parmesan crusted chicken with campari tomatoes and fresh mozzarella or cheese ravioli with vegetables in a creamy Alfredo sauce.
Anyone bringing a guest who is not a student of Salisbury High School must fill out a guest form by May 1. The forms are available outside Room 121 and must be returned to either Ms. Hutchinson in Room 138 or Mrs. Butterbaugh in Room 121. Less than 200 tickets are available, so buy as soon as possible.
Salisbury Baseball Booster Club will host a car wash noon to 3 p.m. April 17 at Big Woody’s, 1841 S. Fourth St., Allentown. Come out to support the boys baseball team while getting your car washed.
SHS’s student government will sponsor the first-ever Spring Powder Puff game 6:30 to 9 p.m. April 28 in the high school stadium. The first game kicks off 6:30 p.m. with the sophomores playing against the freshmen. The championship game starts 7:15 p.m., where the junior class will be looking to defend the title of “Powder Puff Champions” against the winning team of the first game. Due to lack of sign-ups, the senior class will not be fielding a Powder Puff team. More details about the event and ticket prices will be released closer to the game’s date.
SHS’s literary club is holding a book drive. All books will be given to Cops ‘n’ Kids. Cops ‘n’ Kids is a nonprofit organization that ensures every child has access to a book and is provided with the knowledge and inspiration that comes with reading.
If you have any books to donate, drop them off in the high school library by April 29. Any and all books are appreciated.
