Northampton: Quota selling flower vouchers
Quota International of Northampton will be taking orders for flower vouchers from Hickory Grove Greenhouses, 1096 Milton St., North Catasauqua.
Each voucher can be used for either one tray of bedding flowers or vegetables or one 10-inch flowering hanging basket.
Vouchers must be redeemed May 1 and May 22.

Friends of Northampton Area Public Library will hold a pasta dinner 4:30-6:30 p.m. April 17 at the Gin Mill & Grille. Tickets are on sale at the library, 1615 Laubach Ave.
The library will host “Who turned down the lights?,” a presentation by Center for Vision Loss, 6:30 p.m. April 19. Register for this event, which will cover normal vision changes with age.
A teen poetry contest is planned for the month of April. Submissions will be accepted the entire month, and a winner will be chosen the first week of May. A teen poetry slam will be held 7 p.m. April 25.
Visit Santa Fe Taco 5-7 p.m. April 28 and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Friends group.
Join the group at the library 7 p.m. May 3 for an open house.
The Friends group will hold a spring yard sale 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 21. Ten-foot-by-10-foot spaces, with or without tables, are available. Reserve your spot at the library.
Donations also are being accepted to be sold at the yard sale table.

Northampton Area Food Bank will be holding its yearly general meeting April 26 in the social hall of Queenship of Mary, 1324 Newport Ave.
Dinner will begin 6 p.m. Covered dishes and desserts are welcome. The business meeting will follow 7 p.m.
All interested persons are encouraged to attend this meeting. If you want to know more about the food bank, are interested in volunteering or are currently volunteering at the food bank, plan to attend. Area churches are urged to send clergy and board members for the yearly budget discussion.
