Marilyn M. Mohr, 79, of Allentown, formerly of Macungie, died April 11, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She and her husband Richard H. Mohr were married 55 years in January.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Erdell) Schaffer.

A member of the Upper Lehigh Lioness Club and the Upper Lehigh Lions Club where she served on many committees over the years, she then became a member of the Lower Lehigh Lions Club.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fogelsville, where she taught Sunday School for many years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Dean R. and wife, Donna, of Macungie, Thomas W. and wife, Kirstin, of Evans, Ga.; sister Ruth Schaffer of Whitehall; and three grandchildren.

Her service will be at 11 a.m. April 14, at Keller Funeral Homes Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Irvin Moore officiating.
