John P. Borowski, 83, formerly of South Williamsport, died April 9, 2016, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

He was the husband of the late Mary J. (Pulizzi) Borowski.

Born April 17, 1932, in Oil City, he was the son of the late Charles S. and Cecelia (Burczanowski) Borowski.

He was a computer programmer and operator for Little League Baseball Inc., South Williamsport, for 17 years before retiring in 1994.

Prior to that, he worked for Sylvania and Darling Valve, both in the same capacity.

He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, South Williamsport.

His survivors include a son Timothy G. Borowski and his companion, Debra A. Szep, of Orefield.

His service will be private. There will be no calling hours.
