Volunteers are needed to help park cars at these events.

The board voted to raise the user fees for the park and the transfer station.

Joe Howard has resigned from his position on the road crew.

The township will advertise for a replacement.

He was lauded by the board for the work he accomplished while serving the township.

Lynnport Fire Company noted six calls in February with one in March bringing the yearly total to 13.

The annual hoagie sales will conclude for the winter with the May order.

Hoagies will be delivered the first Wednesday in May.

The first joint meeting was held to discuss the fire study recommendations.

Meetings will be held every month to review the report.

The recommendations include testing hoses, ladders and fire pumps at least every four years.

The township will give $5,000 for both companies toward testing fees for testing every other year. Fire Pump Systems of Portland will do the testing.

Fire police were requested to give assistance to Allentown on April 24 at the St. Luke’s Half Marathon, July 30 for the Puerto Rican Day parade, Sept. 11 at another marathon and Oct. 16 for the Halloween Parade.

Workers will continue patching, cutting shoulders and working on dirt roads.

More township farmland has been added to the Agricultural Security area. Most of the Panebianco farm is in Albany Township but some is in Lynn Township, along Kistler Valley Road and Old Philly Road. Both tracts total 270.72 acres. Resolution 2016-19 legitimized the proposal.

Discussion was held concerning the possibility of installing generators at the two township buildings in case of power failure.

A recent power failure in the township gave some problems by being unable to open the garage doors. Supervisor Steve Feinour suggested a less costly option should be considered.

A generator system for the garage would cost approximately $7,600 while a set up for the office building would be around $8,300.Further discussion was tabled for future consideration.

Former supervisor, Kermit Delong asked for more volunteers to serve on the recreation committee.
