Bingo will be held at Annunciation BVM Church (St. Mary’s Parish Center), Second and Union streets, starting 1 p.m. April 10.

The kitchen will be open 11:30 a.m. to all for sit-in or take-out meals.

The event is sponsored by Assembled Men of St. Mary’s.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will have a half-price sale April 11-23. The sale includes everything in the store unless it is marked otherwise.

Also, the shop will close for housecleaning and changeover the week of April 25 and will reopen May 2 with new clothing for spring and summer.

Donations of good, used, clean clothing are gratefully accepted during store operation hours, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday.

Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, will be having a pork and sauerkraut dinner 4-6:30 p.m. April 16. You will have a choice of pork or chicken.

The 22nd annual Russell Miller/Danny Danko Memorial Golf Outing will be held 8 a.m.-5 p.m. April 30 at Willowbrook Golf Course, 1364 Howertown Road.

The fee includes golfing with a cart, a continental breakfast, lunch, fruit, beverages and a buffet dinner.

Sponsorship opportunities are available.

Proceeds from the outing are used to sponsor families, children or adults who are unable to afford the membership or programs of the Suburban North YMCA.
