Moravian College

PA Power Dialog formed

Moravian College, in collaboration with several other Pennsylvania schools and the Pennsylvania Environmental Resource Consortium, are will participate in one of the 30 statewide dialogs.

College students, regulators and legislators will meet on April 4 in the State Museum, Harrisburg, to discuss state-level implementation of the federal Clean Power Plan.

Twenty-two Moravian students in Dr. John Reynolds and Dr. Frank Kuserk ‘s environmental policy course will represent Moravian College at the event.

Penn State Lehigh Valley

Summer camps offered

Penn State Lehigh Valley has announced that one-week, half day youth camps, for those entering grades 1 to 12, will be held from July 11-15. The 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m. sessions include writing, visual arts, LEGO engineering, math, computer programming, video production and swimming camps.

Penn State Lehigh Valley staff will be on hand if parents require early drop-off, lunch time supervision and/or late pick-up.

A Musikfest Video camp for high school students, in which campers go behind the scenes at Musikfest with a veteran television journalist for a hands-on video production experience, will run from Aug. 8 to 12 and is limited to 10 participants.
