Delphine M. DeFrain, 88, of Macungie, died March 22, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Clifford W. DeFrain, with whom she celebrated 69 years of marriage. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Sadie (Sell) Schaffer.
She was a machine operator for Allen Organ for 29 years, retiring in 1996.
She was a member of Solomon’s U.C.C., Macungie.
She is survived by her husband; sons, Larry and his wife Betsy, of Emmaus, Dennis and his wife Debbie, of Emmaus and Dale and his wife Peg, of Mertztown; daughter, Sharon and her husband Dan Fenstermacher, of Breinigsville; eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Clarence and Robert Schaffer and Charles Kuhns and a sister, Lillian Minier.
