To the Editor:

Retiring Emmaus Police Chief, David A. Faust, has faithfully served the citizens of the Borough of Emmaus in the Public Works Department, and as a police officer, K-9 officer and police chief for more than 35 years. He has served as a member of the Emmaus Emergency Management Team and in many other capacities to enhance the safety, welfare and well-being of the Emmaus Community.

We, the citizens of the Borough of Emmaus, desire to honor and thank him as a tribute to his leadership, professionalism, sacrifice, integrity, trust and dedication.

Be it resolved that as a tribute of honor, respect and esteem– David A. Faust, Retired, be the Police Chief Emeritus of the Borough of Emmaus, Pa. and that this honor is afforded him by the grateful citizens of Emmaus.

I believe that “good and faithful servants” of the Borough of Emmaus should be so honored while they are living.
