Eva M. Snyder, 87, of Schnecksville, died March 21, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Rolland A. Snyder.

Born Dec. 16, 1928, in Longswamp, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Jennie (Whalen) Miller.

She was a sewing machine operator at various textile mills in Allentown and Slatington before retiring.

A member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, she volunteered there as a quilter.

She served as past president of the former Ladies Auxiliary of the Neffs Volunteer Fire Company and was a former member of the Zinc City Motorcycle Club.

Her survivors include a daughter Gail S. Heintzelman and her husband, Ronald, with whom she resided; sisters Dolly Miller of Slatington, Marian Zellner of Slatedale, Shirley Blose of New Tripoli; grandchildren Terri L. Wehr and her husband, Daniel, of Schnecksville, Seth R. Heintzelman and his wife, Felicia, of Schnecksville; and great-grandson Chase D. Wehr.

Private graveside services will be held at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.

There will be no calling hours.
