Catasauqua and North Catasauqua will celebrate Independence Day this year with a gala celebration at Catasauqua Playground July 3, ending with fireworks at dusk.

The J4 Committee is asking for donations to help with the cost of fireworks. Donations of $200 or more will be listed on the J4 flier as a special donor. Those who donate $100 to $199 will be listed as a red patron; those who give $50 to $99 will be listed as a white patron; and those who give $49 and under will be listed as a blue patron.

Make checks payable to J4 Celebration and send to the J4 Committee, P.O. Box 228, Catasauqua, 18032. If your donation is received by April 11, your name will be listed in the J4 flier. If your donation is received after April 11, it will be listed on a poster at the J4 celebration.
