William T. Anthony, 95, of Bethlehem, died March 12, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. Born in New Castle, he was a son of the late David J. and Anne (Phillips) Anthony. He was the husband of the late Jayne (Wright) Anthony.

He was a 1938 graduate of New Castle High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree in Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh.

He worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation, starting in the management training program, then worked in various positions in operations, then in new products development and in the sales department, all at the Bethlehem plant, until he retired in 1983.

He was a member of Christ Church U.C.C., Bethlehem.

He was a former chairman of the Railway Progress Institute with the headquarters in Washington, D.C. He was a member of the Saucon Valley Country Club.

He is survived by a son, David J. and his wife Nikki of Bethlehem; and two grandsons, Jonathan W. Anthony of Bethlehem and David J. Jr., his wife Carrie Anthony, and their daughters Lilli and Emi of Florida.

He was predeceased by a son, W. Thomas Anthony Jr.
