Keller earns Widener leadership award
Olivia Keller of Bethlehem is a winner of the Widener University’s High School Leadership Award for Outstanding Leadership and Civic Contributions. If she enrolls for undergraduate studies at Widener, she will receive a scholarship of $20,000 over four years.
The Bethlehem Catholic HS student has made a difference in the community by volunteering and helping others. She dedicates her time to various school activities, including the National Honor Society and soccer team.
She was invited to a celebratory breakfast on March 23 at the National Constitution Center and to a fall 2016 leadership conference at Widener University.
Honor Society names three
Three area students have been inducted in the Cedar Crest College chapter of Psi Chi Honor Society. There are Amy Harding and Margaret Olock of Bethlehem and Jodi Tocci of Fountain Hill.
Psi Chi is the international honor society in Psychology. Members have an overall GPA that is in the top 35 percent of their class based on rankings and a GPA in psychology that is at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
