Katherine Adele Johnson, flower shop owner

Katherine “Kate” Adele Johnson, 57, of Bethlehem, died March 15, 2016, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Kathryn Klinger. She was the wife of Andrew G. Johnson for 34 years.

She attended Bethlehem schools.

She was a supervisor for the family business, Sawyer and Johnson Flower Shop. She was, for more than a decade, an accountant at Ingersoll Rand and Volvo in Clinton, N.J. She was employed most recently at Dunne-Manning Inc., Allentown.

She was a member of St. Anne’s R. C. Church, Bethlehem, and was active with Assumption BVM R. C. Church, Bethlehem.

She is survived by two daughters, Sarah and her husband Michael Flynn of Erdenheim and Michelle and her husband Christopher Liberto of Bethlehem; a sister, Mariann Klinger of Seal Beach, Calif.; four brothers, Robert and his wife Georgine Klinger of Sarasota, Fla., Michael and his wife Martha Klinger of Williamsburg, Va., James Klinger of San Joaquin, Calif. and The Rev. Msgr. Nevin J. Klinger of Bethlehem; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, David Klinger.
