The Northeast MS Theater Company performed Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” before two full house audiences March 3 and 5. Based on the book by Linda Woolverton, with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, the student production featured an over 70 member cast supported by a stage crew of 30. Sarah Thomas directed, Barbara Fleck choreographed, Denise Parker and Natalie Parker were musical directors, and Connie Klose was stage manager/set designer. Jodie Johnson, Janine Page and Tina Piscitello designed costumes and Justin Amman was technical director.
