WESTERN SALISBURY COLUMN Find the Easter eggs at Lindberg Park March 19
The Salisbury Township Recreation Advisory Committee is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for township children aged three to 10. The hunt will begin promptly 10 a.m. March 19 at Lindberg Park. A registration form can be found on the Salisbury Township website and must be filled out and returned to the township building by March 16 in order for your child to participate.
Western Salisbury Elementary School and Harry S Truman Elementary School students have early dismissals March 18 and March 21 through 24 for conferences and professional development. Salisbury High School and Salisbury Middle School have an early dismissal March 24 for professional development. All schools are closed March 25 and 28 for spring break.
Salisbury High School will hold a marching band recruitment night 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 29 in the high school auditorium. Current members will talk about the benefits of music and what it is like to be a band member. If your student plays an instrument, you might want to come out and listen to what the students have to say.
There is a school board meeting 7:30 p.m. March 16 in the administration building and a curriculum and technology committee meeting 7 p.m. March 21 at Western.
The Devonshire drop-off center is open March 19 and 29. The hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday and Saturday of the month.
The Little Brass Band of the Lehigh Valley will be returning to Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church for their 275th anniversary concert series. At 3 p.m. March 20, the concert will feature beloved hymns and songs and something for everyone.
